The first thing to stress is that it is important to keep the linear modules lubricated and clean. Therefore, when checking the imported linear module, it is necessary to clean the surface of the linear module first, and then disassemble the parts around the linear module. Everyone should be aware that oil seals are very fragile parts. Take extra care when inspecting and disassembling. Do not use too much force to avoid damaging the parts. After that, carefully check the oil seal on the linear module and its surrounding parts, if the symptoms are not good, replace it; if the oil seal is broken, the linear guide cloud will fail, and the equipment will stop running.

Next, you need to check the linear guide lubricant. Lubrication is very important not only for linear guides, but also for all imported linear guides. However, do not add too much grease to the linear guide. The test method for imported linear module lubricants is as follows: apply a small amount of lubricant, then rub with two fingers. If there is contamination, you can feel it. Alternatively, apply a thin coat of lubricant to the back of your hand and do a light seal test. ..then replace the linear guide lubricant. After lubricating the linear guide with oil, if possible, remove the old oil, then add new oil, and run the machine at low speed for a few minutes. Collect as much contamination as possible from the oil and flush the oil. NOTE: Oil must be filtered before use. When replacing grease with a grease-lubricated linear module, the cutter cannot be installed on any part of the linear module with a cotton cloth. Special attention should be paid to this problem, especially when using small linear guides, as these residual fibers can be pressed between the rolling elements and cause damage.

Then again, you need to pay attention to the exposed linear guide cover. When inspecting the linear guide, do not expose it to contamination or moisture. If work is interrupted, the machine should be covered with a plastic sheet of oiled paper or similar material. If you want to clean and inspect uncovered linear guides without disassembly, clean with a white-bristle and coated brush, then wipe with a lint-free cloth or dry with compressed air (linear guides). Be careful not to start rotating the assembly. Use a small mirror or probe similar to a dentist's linear guide surface, bracket or bead. Do not clean the sealing cover or dust-proof linear guide, just wipe the outer surface. If the linear module is damaged, it needs to be replaced. Replacing linear guides during routine maintenance is much more economical than suddenly stopping the machine due to damaged linear guides.
