Linear modular robots are used in glass manufacturing. In the clean glass production line, the robot driven by the linear module has 5 degrees of freedom, namely X1, X2, Z1, Z2 and R. It is driven by a servo motor and has the characteristics of fast speed, fast response and high repeatability of positioning accuracy.


In addition, in the X direction, the X1 axis and the X2 axis share a pair of guide rails that alternately coordinate movement, wherein the end of the Z1 axis is provided with a rotation axis R, and the end of the manipulator is provided with an end picker for picking up and placing workpieces. Robots driven by linear modules can also be used in glass manufacturing, flat panel display (FPD) and other industries that require alternating handling and stacking of two manipulators.
